The 2012 spring season for the Boone Hall Farms CSA program will begin in early April (exact date TBA) and will finish up at the end of June.
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership of mutual commitment between a local farmer and the people who consume his produce, creating a bond between the farm and the community supporting it. Members purchase a share of the farm’s anticipated fresh, highest quality food grown locally using the safest methods possible.
This partnership offers a win/win situation to members and their families by giving them the best quality, freshest, widest variety of sustainably grown produce straight from the farm fields while supporting the local farm directly and helping in maintaining its viability.
By investing in the Boone Hall Farms CSA, shareholders receive a local green benefit that comes straight from the earth near where they live and fresh produce that far exceeds the value of the investment. Participation also provides a direct benefit to the local economy.
