Boone Hall Farms is the agricultural arm of Boone Hall Plantation. Approximately 120 acres of the plantation is used to grow over 40 different kinds of crops throughout the spring, summer, and fall. We are told by the South Carolina Department of Agriculture that is a wider variety than is grown on any other farm in the state. So while they are larger farms in the state, the variety grown here packs a powerful punch.
Our reputation and quality is such that our crops are featured and sold in a number of grocery stores across the Lowcountry and are also featured on the menus of some of the area’s finest restaurants.
Plans are on the drawing board for a new Boone Hall Farms Market to be built on Boone Hall property in the approximate area where the produce stand is presently located. However, for a number of reasons, the timeline for that project to get underway is yet to be determined. We will announce updates as details unfold. In the interim, our Roadside Produce Stand is open 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday.The stand is located at 2434 N. Hwy. 17 – Mt. Pleasant, S.C. 29464. Please call our Boone Hall Farms Information Line at 843-856-5366 for the latest updates on produce available and u-pick operations.
We take great pride in being a local farm owned and operated by people who live and work in the same communities you do. It is worth noting that studies show that $68 of every $100 spent at local businesses is reinvested back locally which contributes in a major way to the economic and social sustainability of those communities.
It’s a win win for everybody involved. Supporting local business…is good business
